Yesterday was our company Thanksgiving celebration! Usually, we host a potluck for our whole team for Thanksgiving where everyone can bring in a dish to share. This year, with safety and good health at the top of our priority, we decided best to have the event catered. Obviously, no one opposed the choice of Cracker Barrel for a good old-fashioned Thanksgiving meal. Yum!
We also created five different designated eating areas in our new office space so everyone can still socialize and cheers while socially distancing. With just a few adjustments, we could have our yearly celebration and still follow health guidelines.
Congratulations to one of our Field Engineers, David, for being a part of the Straight Edge team for 3 years! We greatly appreciate and value your hard work and success.
“The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated [this ground], far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here.” - President Abraham Lincoln (1863, Gettysburg Address)
Did you know that the first official commemoration for veterans was declared on Nov. 11, 1919, but it wasn’t until 1954 that it became known as Veterans Day?
To all veterans, for all that you did, for all we could not do, thank you!
